The Logistician coordinates with the Program Material Manager, site maintenance personnel, supply-chain partners, and customer representatives to ensure the right spares, materials, tools, and equipment are available when needed while maintaining accurate accountability, records, and compliance.

Essential Functions:

  • Willingness and ability to work onsite, adjust schedules, and travel as part of a maintenance recovery team as required.
  • Willingness and ability to qualify for CONUS and OCONUS deployments, including extended schedules of up to 12 hours per day and 7 days per week when required by mission needs.
  • Ability to meet required medical, physical, training, passport, theater-clearance, and other deployment requirements, including required annual deployment or CRC physical examinations.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Material and Inventory Management:

  • Perform inventory cycle counts, spot checks, reconciliations, and discrepancy research; promptly correct or escalate inventory discrepancies through approved processes.

Receiving, Shipping, and Asset Accountability:

  • Receive, inspect, store, issue, package, ship, and turn in serviceable, unserviceable, recoverable, repairable, surplus, and obsolete parts, materials, tools, and equipment in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Prepare, record, and retain applicable documents supporting procurement, acquisition, issue, shipment, turn-in, disposal, and property accountability for government and company-owned material.
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments as assigned; ensure materials are packaged, documented, marked, and transported in accordance with applicable ITAR, IATA, 49 CFR, company, customer, and program requirements.
  • Control the receipt, storage, issue, shipment, and accountability of classified and sensitive items in accordance with required COMSEC, security, and property-control procedures.

Tools, Equipment, and Site Support:

  • Receive, store, issue, and maintain accountability for tools, special tools, machine-tool fixtures, measuring devices, and support equipment; report damaged, worn, missing, or unserviceable assets through approved channels.
  • Monitor calibration status for assigned measuring devices and coordinate calibration, replacement, or disposition actions to prevent use of out-of-calibration equipment.
  • Maintain orderly storage areas and apply required safety, FOD-prevention, hazardous-material, environmental, and housekeeping practices.
  • Prepare routine logistics status, inventory, shipping, and supply-support reports; communicate material risks, shortages, expected delivery dates, and recommended actions to the Site Lead and Program Material Manager.
  • Participate in required site and PMO logistics meetings and support special projects or other assigned duties as directed by Management.
