Job Description:
L3Harris is seeking an International Strategy & Capture Leader, who will be responsible for developing and executing international business strategies and leading high-value capture campaigns to drive global growth for the Aerojet Rocketdyne Segment. This role will focus on identifying and securing major international opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and presenting compelling business cases to executive leadership. This role will support both Business Development and Strategy functional areas. This position will report to the Director, Strategy, and provides direct support to the Missile Solutions and Space Propulsion & Power Systems Sector Presidents and the Aerojet Rocketdyne VP, Business Development and Strategy.
Essential Functions:

Develop and implement comprehensive international business strategies to expand Aerojet Rocketdyne’s presence in global markets.

Lead and manage high-value international capture campaigns, including new business pursuits and follow-on contracts, with a focus on creating high-return opportunities exceeding $500M.

Prepare and present persuasive business cases to executive leadership, securing investment and resources for international growth initiatives.

Identify, negotiate, and execute international partnerships, joint ventures, and M&A transactions to accelerate market entry and capability expansion.

Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international systems primes, end customers, and government/industry stakeholders.

Integrate and lead cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive campaigns and operational excellence across international markets.

Identify and develop new market opportunities, including emerging technologies and regions, to drive sustainable revenue growth.

Support the Missile Solutions and Space Propulsion & Power Systems Sector Presidents in achieving international business objectives.

Ensure compliance with all applicable export, security, and regulatory requirements, with intimate knowledge of ITAR.

Leverage and partner with Government and Customer Relations international regional executives to maximize business development and capture success.

Up to 50% travel required, both domestic and international.
- Ability to obtain US Security Clearance.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 15 years of prior related business development, capture or strategy experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior related development, capture or strategy experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related development, capture or strategy experience.

10+ years experience working with international prime contractors and end customers.

5+ years experience developing and executing international business strategies, including market expansion and new venture creation.
Preferred Additional Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

Active US Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance.

Demonstrated success in leading and winning international capture campaigns exceeding $500M in value.

Proven ability to establish and manage international partnerships, joint ventures, and M&A transactions.

Proven ability to build and lead cross-functional teams.

Proven ability to leverage and partner with Government and Customer Relations international regional executives.

Strong business development acumen.

Deep understanding of global aerospace and defense markets, with established relationships across industry and government.

Advanced knowledge of government and industry relations, including security clearance requirements.

Intimate knowledge of ITAR and export compliance.

Active US Top Secret Clearance.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $148,500.00 - $275,500.00. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $129,000.00 - $240,000.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
