Job Description:

The Advanced Operation Technologies team is seeking a Project Manager to support automation and digital factory, focusing on meeting cost, schedule, and technical performance goals to improve manufacturing processes and facilities. This individual will work within a matrix organization, aligning high level objectives with detailed plans.

Essential Functions:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing engineers, procurement, scheduling and finance to achieve key performance metrics.
• Support proposal activities, including estimating and writing basis of estimates.
• Reviews status of engineering projects and budgets, manages schedules, drives execution, identifies risks and opportunities, and delivers results.
• Present project status information to internal and external leadership teams.
• Provides input to the Integrated Master Schedule, Estimates at Complete and Variance Analysis.
• Ability to obtain a US secret security clearance.
• Travel: 10%.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field with a minimum of 4 years of prior Project Management experience; or a Graduate Degree with 2 years of prior Project Management experience; or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior Project Management experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field is requested.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite of tools, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Previous experience in aerospace or defense industry preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project.
• Earned Value Management Training and CAM experience.
• Experience with Proposal Activities.
• Experience or knowledge of purchase order process and NDA’s (Non-Disclosure Agreements).
