Job Description:

A senior professional with strong knowledge of supply chain and procurement with broad knowledge of project management.  This role manages complex procurements, projects and processes that can be inside or outside of their immediate job area with general oversight.  Manages large, complex project initiatives of substantial importance to the organization with minimal oversight or direction. Communicates within and outside of the organization to explain and influence changes to practices, processes and approaches. Responsible for making moderate to substantial improvements in processes, systems, or products. Explains, interprets, communicates and achieves cooperation on policies, procedures and practices with internal and external customers. Typically, responsible for providing guidance and assistance to other employees.  This position requires following established procedures and policies to perform assigned tasks. Requires professional judgment and extensive use and/or application of supply chain/procurement principles, theories, and concepts.

Essential Functions:

  • Performs fundamental procurement activities including acquisition of materials, components and services at realistic and competitive prices, which meet schedule, safety and quality standards.
  • Performs price/cost analysis.
  • Provides proposal support.
  • Responsible for managing multiple Government procurements in support of multiple Government Programs, with a key focus on 1-3 highly visible/complex suppliers.

 

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior subcontracts experience or Graduate degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior subcontracts experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior subcontracts experience.

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Familiar with issuing supplier contracts to support direct programs above the TINA ($2M) threshold with minimal guidance.
  • Government buying experience and familiarity with FAR/DFAR requirements.

 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $91,500 - $170,500. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $79,500 - $147,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
