We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Project Engineer with a background in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering or any other engineering discipline to join our Manufacturing Strategy and Growth team located in Huntsville Alabama. This position offers a unique opportunity to apply your engineering skills in a real-world manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, definition, and optimization of manufacturing processes and systems to meet complex company initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production efficiency, product quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Utilize engineering principles from aerospace, mechanical and computer engineering to solve complex manufacturing challenges.
- Conduct research and analysis to support the development of new manufacturing technologies, techniques and modern solutions.
- Participate in the creation and implementation of process improvements and lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing transition issues to ensure smooth production operations and to meet critical timelines.
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation, including process flow diagrams, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
- Support the implementation of safety and quality standards in the manufacturing environment.
