Job Description:
We are looking for a meticulous and driven Telecom Invoice Analyst to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for reconciling telecom invoices, managing payment processes, allocating costs, and performing monthly accruals for expected telecom expenses. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance, accounting, or telecom expense management, and demonstrate exceptional analytical and organizational skills.
Essential Functions:
- Review, reconcile, and validate telecom invoices with contracts and service inventories to ensure billing accuracy
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and coordinate closely with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Oversee and ensure timely processing of payments for all telecom invoices
- Accurately allocate telecom expenses to various projects and charge codes according to predefined allocation methodologies
- Prepare and process monthly accruals of expected telecom costs to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Maintain thorough and organized records of invoices, reconciliations, allocations, payments, and accruals
- Provide monthly and ad hoc reports on telecom spend, trends, accruals, and allocation details
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation and support
- Identify and recommend opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements within telecom expense management
- Ability to obtain a FAA Public Trust Clearance or a U.S. Government Security Clearance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience in telecom invoice processing, accounts payable, financial analysis, or expense management
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with financial performance reporting, internal/customer reporting.
- Experience with ERP or financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Understanding of GAAP and financial month-end processes
- Ability to proactively solve problems and issues in a timely manner with moderate supervision.
- Self-motivated and strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with people of all levels within the organization.
