Title:  Program Coordinator

About the role 

This role is part of the Communications Systems segment and serves as the Senior Program Coordinator at L3Harris Communications Australia (L3HCA).

The primary purpose of this position is to support the Program Management team through comprehensive program support activities, ensuring a cohesive approach to all program deliverables.

 

What the role will involve

The responsibilities of your role will include the following:

  • Collaborate with the Information Manager to establish and maintain effective document control systems; act as deputy when required
  • Coordinate and track program support activities to ensure successful delivery outcomes
  • Organise and attend customer meetings in line with contractual requirements
  • Manage key program processes including Survey & Quote (S&Q), Task Priced Services (TPS), Requests for Information (RFI), and Action Items (AI)
  • Oversee program and business correspondence, ensuring accurate tracking and record keeping
  • Administer Document and Records Management Systems (DRMS) across L3HCA and customer environments, ensuring compliance with security and trade regulations
  • Manage Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables in line with contractual obligations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date program documentation
  • Identify and implement improvements to document control processes
  • Provide proactive support to Program Managers, ensuring activities are planned, tracked, and delivered
  • Promote consistent practices and continuous improvement across program support functions

 

What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you’ll need the following experience and skills:

  • 8+ years’ experience in project management, ideally within Defence or complex environments
  • Strong experience with CASG ASDEFCON contract management (5+ years)
  • Solid understanding of supply chain, logistics, and maintenance/repair operations
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and deliver against KPIs and contractual requirements
  • Proven experience in customer-facing roles and stakeholder engagement
  • Current Australian Defence Security Clearance (NV1 / SECRET minimum)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related discipline
