Job Description:

We’re seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team in performing structural and mechanical modifications. You’ll oversee production schedules, ensure quality standards, and support on-time delivery while fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Manage daily operations to meet production, quality, and schedule goals.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and take corrective action as needed.
  • Lead and support a team in a cross-functional, team-based maintenance environment.
  • Coordinate work schedules, assign tasks, and maintain steady workflow.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Provide input on hiring, performance evaluations, and employee development.
  • Train team members in core skills and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of structural and mechanical aircraft modifications.
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.
  • Ability to analyze data and drive performance improvements.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with maintenance systems and process improvement.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience OR graduate Degree or equivalent with up to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with Fuel System Structural modifications and assemblies.
  • Demonstrated experience using schematics and maintenance manuals.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of planning for depot-level maintenance and baseline modifications on various airframes.
  • Demonstrated aircraft technical knowledge.
  • Must be flexible to work off shifts and overtime based on business needs
  • Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. DoD security clearance.

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Active OR Prior Security Clearance (Secret or higher)
  • Demonstrated experience working with MS Excel.
  • Demonstrated experience as Supervisor or Lead.
  • Demonstrated experience on RC-135 airframe.
