Job Description:
The ASG Division is seeking a Senior Specialist, Program Finance to support the financial management, forecasting, analysis, and estimating of assigned programs. This role partners closely with Program Management and cross-functional teams to evaluate financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and support execution of program and business objectives.
The ideal candidate is a strong program finance professional who can manage complex assignments with general oversight, communicate effectively across functions, and contribute to process improvements that enhance financial performance and reporting.
Essential Functions
- Support financial management of assigned programs, including forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
- Set up and maintain projects, service orders, and production work orders in ERP systems.
- Prepare and maintain Estimates at Completion (EACs) in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Monitor program costs and analyze labor, material, subcontract, and ODC performance against budget and forecast.
- Perform variance analysis for sales, profit, cash, and EAC drivers, and communicate key insights to leadership.
- Review labor and material charges and coordinate required cost transfers or corrections.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting and close activities.
- Partner with Program Management, Contracts, Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve financial issues and support program execution.
- Support customer financial reporting requirements and compliance with internal financial processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting, forecasting, and financial processes.
- Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience; or Graduate degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience; or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- Strong knowledge of program finance, forecasting, financial analysis, and estimating.
- Experience managing complex assignments with general oversight.
- Ability to communicate effectively across functions and with leadership.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including Program Management, Contracts, Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain.
- Experience with multiple contract types, including Cost Plus, Fixed Price, and Time and Materials.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

- Experience improving financial processes or reporting.
- Experience presenting financial results to leadership.
- Active DoD Secret clearance.
