Job Description:

L3Harris is seeking an Engineering Services Flight Pubs Management Sr. Specialist for our location at RAF Waddington, Lincoln, UK to provide oversee the Flight Publication Bag/Management of the Royal Air Force’s RC-135 fleet.

*****This position will be permanently located in RAF Waddington Lincoln, UK. Selected applicant will be expected to relocate immediately after hire.*****

Essential Functions:

  • Manages Electronic Flight Bag - Pubs (EFB) daily operations and makes recommendations to correct system anomalies.
  • Data management experience including knowledge of RAF aircraft documents and charts.
  • Responsible for EFB database and software configuration and security controls.
  • Conducts Cyber Security functions and compile reports.
  • Prepares reports for presentation to RAF customers.
  • Knowledge of UK Security procedures.
  • Liaison with RAF flight crews and operations staff to advise on requisite data sets in use.
  • Working extended and non-standard hours when required.
  • Familiar with MS Office administrator.
  • Travel limited, up to 10% of the time.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with six (6) years of experience in managing projects/processes.
  • Graduate Degree with four (4) experience in managing projects/processes.
  • In lieu of a degree, a minimum of ten (10) experience in managing projects/processes.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD Clearance within the 1st six months of employment.
  • Must have a UK Visa at the time of hire.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience with working the RC-135 platform or equivalent (prior flyer preferred).
  • Technical acumen to manage iPad operations/sustainment/repairs.
  • Mobile Device Management knowledge (Apple and IBM).
  • Systems/Network Admin experience (Apple).
