Job Description:

 

L3Harris ISR Information Dominance Group (IDG) is searching for a motivated and energetic Program Manager (PM) to contribute to the success of the International Strategic Collection and Targeting Programs (SC&T) business unit.  This position acts as a Program Manager and IPT Leader for a Foreign Military Sales special mission aircraft program.  

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of assigned contract scope and proposals by leading cross functional teams including Program Management, Engineering, Operations, Contracts, Legal, Finance, Quality, Security, and others. 
  • Demonstrate team building, leadership, and communication skills by building relationships of trust with their teams, customers, peers, and leadership, and to effectively communicate with confidence, including regular presentations and status updates to leadership. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills as interactions within L3Harris and the local and external customers occur daily.
  • Directing the work of functional employees in the execution of the assigned projects while establishing and monitoring performance to schedules, plans and milestones. Setting the highest ethical standards for self and others.
  • Developing and maintaining baselines for suppliers, ensuring these baselines support the overall program performance.
  • Customer liaison experience.
  • Will interface with and present proposed solutions and progress updates to high-level customer representatives.
  • Develop customer specifications and correspondence related to new systems requirements.
  • Proven team player with the ability to work effectively with others; have outstanding customer relationship skills and presents a professional appearance.
  • Must be able to support multiple efforts, changing priorities and maintain professional behavior in high-pressure situations.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with six (6) years of prior experience managing Engineering, Procurement, and Fabrication projects for military ISR platforms.
  • Graduate Degree with four (4) years of prior experience managing Engineering, Procurement, and Fabrication projects for military ISR platforms.
  • In Lieu of a degree, minimum of ten (10) years of prior experience managing Engineering, Procurement, and Fabrication projects for military ISR platforms.
  • Must have an active Secret clearance at the time of hire.
