Job Description:

The Program Scheduler Specialist will perform schedule analysis in support of assigned programs or projects. This position ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality.

 

 

Essential Functions:

  • Develop integrated master schedules using IMP, SOW and WBS
  • Capability to track / maintain schedules and identify/resolve critical path issues and network logic conflicts
  • Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts.
  • Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas.
  • Perform Critical Path Analysis, Schedule Risk Analysis, and Schedule Metric Analysis - such as BEI, CPLI, SPI, etc in support of assigned programs or projects.
  • Ensures compliance with internal program procedures and project control system guidelines.
  • May lead or participate in scheduling status reviews.
  • May be responsible for entire projects or processes within job area.
  • May be responsible for providing guidance, coaching and training to other employees within job area.
  • May manage projects at this level with responsibility for the delegation of work and the review of others' work product
  • Communicates with contacts within and outside of own department and may occasionally have responsibility for communicating with parties external to the organization (e.g., customers, vendors, etc.).
  • Explains and interprets processes and procedures to others within and outside the job area.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

 

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint)
  • Earned Value Management (EVMS)
  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills, self-motivated to learn quickly, assertive, and posses a positive attitude
