Job Description:
We are seeking a versatile professional to oversee contract execution and vendor relationships supporting product repair, requirements, and sustainment activities. This role is responsible for coordinating proposals, business plans, statements of work, subcontracts, specifications, budgets, and overall program execution while serving as the customer representative for assigned vendor efforts. The position includes analyzing component and system failures to determine root cause, driving corrective actions, establishing milestones, and resolving repair and performance issues to support product and platform readiness. The successful candidate will participate in program reviews with customers, vendors, and senior leaders to address requirements, status, cost, schedule, and technical performance, and will work across multiple disciplines to ensure effective contract input, execution, and sustainment planning. Strong knowledge of product lifecycle repair and logistics sustainment processes, experience managing subcontractor performance and contract-related challenges, and excellent communication skills for briefings and high-level coordination are essential.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams, government agencies, and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment with mission objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and innovation to achieve mission success.
- Travel: 25-50% possible primarily CONUS.
- Candidates must be eligible to obtain a DoD clearance of Secret or higher to be considered.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Demonstrated experience in Logistics/Material management, Contract/Sub-Contract Management, OR an Engineering/Technical background related to program/project management.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Other program management, supply chain related experiences a plus.
- Planning and time management skills to manage complex, long-term initiatives.
- Knowledge of project management tools.
