Job Description:
L3Harris ISR Reconnaissance Group (RCG) is searching for a motivated and energetic Program Manager (PM) to contribute to the success of the International Strategic Collection and Targeting Programs (SC&T) business unit. This position acts as a Program Manager and IPT Leader for a Foreign Military Sales tactical special mission aircraft program.
- The Program Manager is responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of assigned contract scope and proposals by leading cross functional teams including Program Management, Engineering, Operations, Contracts, Legal, Finance, Quality, Security, and others.
- Program Managers are expected to demonstrate team building, leadership, and communication skills by building trust-based relationships with their teams, customers, peers, and leadership. They must communicate effectively and confidently, including delivering regular presentations and status updates to leadership.
- The PM communicates with contacts inside and outside of their own department and may occasionally be responsible for communicating with external parties such as customers and vendors. This includes explaining and interpreting operational processes, practices, and procedures, and working to justify and gain cooperation regarding these processes.
- The PM directs the work of functional employees in the execution of assigned projects, establishing and monitoring performance to schedules, plans, and milestones. The selected individual must set the highest ethical standards for self and others.
- The PM is responsible for developing and maintaining baselines for suppliers, ensuring these baselines support overall program performance.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with 2 years of related experience, or 8 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Must have an active Secret clearance.
Preferred Skills:
- Demonstrated experience in managing sustainment projects for military ISR platforms.
- Customer liaison experience preferred. Will interface with and present proposed solutions and progress updates to high-level customer representatives.
- Proven team player with the ability to work effectively with others; has outstanding customer relationship skills and presents a professional appearance.
- Ability to support multiple efforts, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain professional behavior in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders at multiple levels including executive leadership.
