Job Description:
The L3Harris ISR Sector’s Program Finance Organization is currently seeking a Program Financial Analyst to support the financial management, review, and estimating of assigned programs. This role requires an individual who is self-motivated and ready to work in a collaborative team environment. The analyst will partner with program management teams to analyze and understand their financial position. This position will be responsible for monthly customer financial reports, verifying actual cost reporting, providing variance analysis, and supporting monthly closing activities.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain the financial plan for assigned programs, including performing earned-value analysis and preparing customer reports.
- Collaborate with Program Management, FP&A, Accounting, and functional support departments as the primary source of all financial information for all assigned programs.
- Prepare monthly forecasts for Orders, Sales, Operating Income, Cash Flow, and Working Capital
- Serve as the financial expert for programs, alerting management to potential issues, identifying risks, and proposing solutions
- Prepare Estimates at Completion (EAC) for programs and access profit impacts with variance commentary
- Provide financial analysis for audits and other ad hoc financial activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Clearance
- Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, etc) in program development and execution.
- Experience with multiple contract types (CP/FP/T&M).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc).
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively with peers, leadership, and other functions.
- Experience supporting contractual EVMS programs
- Experience with COBRA
