Job Description:

This Senior Specialist, Program Management will establish and maintain multiple projects required for the Proprietary modification programs. This candidate will have a strong knowledge of aircraft production, aircraft requirements, and minimal project management that include directing complex projects and ongoing administrative functions of the program initiatives while adhering to contractual obligations and subsequent reporting.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for leading an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to drive the cost, schedule, and technical performance of a program.  
  • Manages preparation of proposals, and specifications of contract for periodic maintenance, aircraft requirements, and other aircraft configuration paperwork.   
  • Responsible for analyzing bids, plus assisting in development of deliverables, schedule, and performance Statement of Work (SOW).
  • Acts as primary customer contact for program maintenance activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost and technical performance to ensure seamless execution.
  • Drives program planning to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing, or current programs. 
  • Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. 
  • Works with Functions assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing, and administrative areas to identify areas of improvement for systems and processes.
  • Effectively communicates with all levels of co-workers, senior management, and customer. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 6 years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with minimum 4 years’ experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum 10 years prior related experience.
  • Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance is required
