Job Description:

This senior specialist, program manager will support the C-37 Program Team maintaining multiple projects required for the SLC Program Office; HSRs, E22s, Proposals, Action Items, Visit Certs for upcoming meetings, etc. This candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced office environment with multiple efforts in work simultaneously.  Have knowledge of aircraft production, aircraft requirements, and project management that includes administrative functions of the program initiatives while adhering to contractual obligations and subsequent reporting.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Set goals and empower individuals to take ownership for their assignments.
  • Assist leadership in identifying program growth opportunities in addition to facilitating capture of new opportunities with customers.
  • Have strong and effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills that will facilitate in creating and maintaining a collaborative work environment which includes providing decisive and constructive feedback.
  • Demonstrate and insist on ethical and professional behavior in accordance with company values.
  • Responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of program.
  • Drives all phases of aircraft requirements and modification installation planning and execution from inception through completion. 
  • Drives program planning to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing, or current programs. 
  • Manages preparation of proposals, performance Statement of Work (SOW) and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract. 
  • Effectively communicates with all levels of co-workers, senior management, and customer. 
  • Works with Functions assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing, and administrative areas to identify areas of improvement for systems and processes.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities with multiple efforts in work simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated experience in aircraft and system integration labs.
  • Demonstrated experience driving the cost, schedule, and technical performance of program.
  • Demonstrated experience driving aircraft requirements and modification installation planning and execution from inception through completion.
  • Demonstrated experience driving program planning to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing, or current programs. 
  • Demonstrated experience managing proposal preparation, performance Statement of Work (SOW) and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract.
  • Demonstrated experience communicating/presenting with/to internal/external stakeholders at all levels including senior management and/or executive leadership. 
  • Demonstrated experience working with Functions assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing, and administrative areas to identify areas of improvement for systems and processes.

 

Preferred Additional Skills:
