Job Description:

Currently holds Secret-level security clearance

This position is for a Senior Associate within Inventory Management, that is responsible for the coordination of materials between various stages through the production cycle. Duties include planning, controlling and managing activities related to inventory control. Candidates will be responsible for ensuring materials are available to support both onsite and field modification schedules. Additional responsibilities include internal tracking of materials through in-house production areas and management of shortages. Candidates should be detail-oriented and driven individuals. This role plays a critical part in maintaining balanced production flow by ensuring equipment and materials are aligned with HDL production schedules. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

· Identify and reconcile material shortages/requirements for planned orders and release production orders in support of aircraft schedules; coordinate and initiate material movements between warehouse and production areas

· Communicate status, risks, and constraints clearly to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, including materials availability and production schedules

· Collaborate and communicate with Customer, Program Office, HDL and Manufacturing to ensure schedule adherence and potential risks to mission supportability

· Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance scheduling accuracy and production flow

· Support on-call activities through team rotation schedule

·Support production efforts through overtime and/or off-shift assignment as required to support program schedules

Qualifications:

  • Solid experience/proficiency in BSI, SAP, DocLinks & Microsoft Excel
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the role
  • Team-oriented mindset with a focus on internal and external customer satisfaction
  • Currently holds Secret-level security clearance

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Previous experience with SAP and/or BSI systems
  • Previous experience within MRP/ERP environment
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
