Job Description:

The L3Harris Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) is looking for a self-motivated, high-energy individual to join our team.  Successful candidates possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.  The ideal candidate thrives in a team environment and reports to the Manager of the Airworthiness Project Lead group.

Essential Functions:

• Works on multi-function and multi-disciplinary teams to achieve company and customer goals
• Creates and reviews FAA and Military project certification plans
• Creates and reviews FAA and Military project compliance reports
• Tracks and reports certification project status and budgets
• Works to influence others to accept practices, concepts and approaches to show compliance to FAA regulations and military airworthiness criteria
• Communicates with parties within and outside of the organization, which includes customers or vendors
• Participates in process improvement initiatives and offers ideas for aspects of the ODA and company business that need improvement

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.  In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
• Demonstrated experience with aircraft system design and integration

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Existing DoD SECRET Security Clearance
• Demonstrated experience with FAA and Military airworthiness certification
• Demonstrated experience with leading multi-disciplinary teams
• Demonstrated Ability to communicate & influence leadership at all levels
