Job Description:
The Manager, Program Management is responsible for directing the daily tasks and ongoing administrative functions of the program initiatives adhering to contractual obligations and subsequent reporting.
Essential Functions:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
- Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
- Drives program execution in order to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing or current programs.
- Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of program.
- Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes.
- Responsible for Analyzing bids, assisting in development of WBS / Deliverables / Schedule / Cashflow forecast.
- Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans and performance Statement of Work (SOW) and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.
- Acts as primary customer contract for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule and technical performance to ensure seamless execution.
- Effectively communicates with all levels of co-workers, senior management and customer.
- Works with Functions assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas to identify and assist in areas of improvement for systems and processes.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
- Active DoD Secret (or greater) security clearance
- Must be a US citizen
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Active Top Secret security clearance
- Aircraft Modification, Engineering/Sustainment, Planning, Procurement, Material Program Management, or Finance background is beneficial
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project
- EVMS reporting experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP
- Strong and effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to generate and support pragmatic solutions while maintaining high quality standards
