Job Description:
L3Harris is seeking a Program Finance Manager with a proven track record of driving process improvements, delivering against internal customer and audit requirements, and building strong partnerships across key functional stakeholders. This role requires a highly motivated individual with strong leadership experience who thrives in a collaborative team environment. The Program Finance Manager will partner closely with program management teams to analyze and assess the financial position of an entire product line, while also leading and developing a high-performing finance team.
Essential Functions:
- Build strong partnerships with Program Managers and other key cross-functional stakeholders.
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of direct reports, providing ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance management.
- Provide leadership and guidance to finance professionals to support business and program objectives.
- Assess and quantify business risks and opportunities related to orders, sales, profit, and cash.
- Support the development of the Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Plan.
- Ensure business financial goals and commitments are achieved.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Identify and address staffing and resource needs to support team and business objectives.
- Support internal and external customer deliverables in a timely and accurate manner.
- Perform financial analysis and prepare reports to ensure contracts operate within negotiated terms and applicable government cost control guidelines.
- Drive alignment of Program Excellence strategies, processes, and tools across the sector.
- Partner cross-functionally with Program Managers, Schedulers, Program Finance, and other key stakeholders to support program execution and financial performance.
- Ability to obtain a US Secret security clearance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years prior program finance experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior program finance experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior program finance experience.
- Minimum 5 years experience working with multiple contract types (CP/FP/T&M).
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Active US Secret security clearance.
- Experience in the Defense Industry.
- Experience supporting contractual EVMS programs and knowledge of Cobra.
- Experience working independently and with higher levels of management.
- Experience interfacing with and presenting to executive leadership.
- Ability to effectively work in a challenging and fast paced environment.
