Job Description:
Managing a team of 10 - 15 test engineers in support of organization and control of engineering tasks associated with the support of airborne testing to include signal development, equipment design, integration and adaptation of various test equipment. The candidate will be responable for directing the day to day activities which include the scheduling, coordination and planning of all related projects. This includes manpower assignments, budget tracking and coordination with other managers and functional groups. The candidate will set the highest ethical standards for themself and others and perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions:
- Managing a diverse, highly qualified group of engineers and ensuring each team member performs their job duties to the best of their ability.
- Understanding customer requirements and developing bids to ensure competitive pricing while maintaining the highest possible standards.
- The candidate must be willing and able to learn the technical aspects of the operations of the MSTF and be ready to step in and assist as needed.
- Build and maintain a Test Engineering organization staffed to meet current and future business needs.
- Collaborate with the Program Management Office (PMO) to ensure all bids and contractual obligations are met.
- Must be willing and able to travel upto 20%, work other shifts, weekends and overtime as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
- Must have an Active DoD Secret Security Clearance, with the ability to obtain Top Secret which requires U.S. Citizenship.
- Must have extensive experience in RF therory.
- 4+ years testing of ELINT/COMINT systems.
