Job Description:

L3Harris ISR Information Dominance Group (IDG) is searching for a motivated and energetic Program Manager (PM) to contribute to the success of the International Strategic Collection (ISC) business unit.  This position acts as a Program Manager and IPT Leader for a Foreign Military Sales special mission aircraft program.

Essential Functions:

  • The Program Manager is responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of assigned contract scope and proposals by leading cross functional teams including Program Management, Engineering, Operations, Contracts, Legal, Finance, Quality, Security, and others. 
  • Program Managers are expected to demonstrate team building, leadership, and communication skills by building trust relationships with their teams, customers, peers, and leadership, and to effectively communicate with confidence, including regular presentations and status updates to leadership. 
  • Candidate must possess strong verbal and written communication skills as interactions within L3Harris and the local and external customers occur daily.
  • The PM directs the work of functional employees in the execution of the assigned projects while establishing and monitoring performance to schedules, plans and milestones. The selected individual must set the highest ethical standards for self and others.
  • The PM will be responsible for developing and maintaining baselines for suppliers, ensuring these baselines support the overall program performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of program management, aerospace/defense, or military experience; OR Graduate degree and 7 years of related experience.
  • Must have an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
  • Must be a US Citizen

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Previous experience in managing dngineering agile and/or waterfall development projects for military ISR platforms.
  • Customer liaison experience preferred. Will interface with and present proposed solutions and progress updates to high-level customer representatives.
  • Ability to develop customer specifications and correspondence related to new systems requirements.
  • Proven team player with the ability to work effectively with others; has outstanding customer relationship skills and presents a professional appearance.
  • Must be able to support multiple efforts, changing priorities and can maintain professional behavior in high-pressure situations.
