Job Description:

The Lead, Product Training, will be responsible for leading a team that works with subject matter experts to develop and deliver technical training for airborne and ground-based systems.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Attention to detail and follow-up on all delegated assignments.
  • Partnering with engineering teams, relevant team members, and customer representatives to define the priorities for curriculum/courseware development and to coordinate completion with product release dates.
  • Develop/deliver training presentations and lesson plans from engineering documentation, field service requirements and vendor spec sheets.
  • Create course materials that ensure participants have a solid understanding of the systems, and the skills needed to operate or maintain their systems in their day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Must be able to deliver course materials in a formal classroom setting, trainer/simulator environment, or on aircraft.
  • Works under general supervision and will contribute to various programs.
  • Responsible for making minor changes in processes to solve problems or improve the effectiveness of approaches and routines being utilized. Problems are generally solved through creative solutions, drawing from prior experience and in-depth analysis of issues.
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work with internal and external customers.
  • Training development and delivery in a technical environment.
  • Gathering and utilizing metrics to improve program performance.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to develop and deliver complex topics.
  • Experience in the development of computer-based training.
  • Implementing training programs using instructional design methodology.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with nine (9) years of ELINT/COMINT/SIGINT operator on one or more military ISR platforms.
  • Graduate Degree with seven (7) years of ELINT/COMINT/SIGINT operator on one or more military ISR platforms.
  • In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of ELINT/COMINT/SIGINT operator on one or more military ISR platforms.
  • Must have an active Secret clearance at the time of hire with the ability to obtain a Top Secret with SCI.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
