Job Description:
This position is for an Inventory Management Support within the Logistics organization, that is responsible for multiple functions within the Receiving department. Job duties will include processing incoming deliveries into the internal tracking system, managing expedite requests, and assisting bargaining unit employees with quality discrepancies. Candidates should be detail-oriented and driven individuals. This role plays a critical part in maintaining balanced production flow by ensuring materials are processed through inventory and are in alignment with customer schedules. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Candidates will be responsible for coordinating and interfacing with Procurement, Suppliers, Quality, Material Program Managers, and Customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Process incoming deliveries from freight carriers into freight register tool
- Prioritize and manage expedite requests for incoming orders
- Process data entry for Goods Receipts of GFE materials
- Coordinate with Quality (MRB), Procurement, Suppliers, and Material Program Managers to resolve material issues including discrepancies, damages, missing documentation, and other open actions to complete the receipt of materials
- Manage administrative tasks related to document control, scanning, and archives
- Assist Procurement team with purchase order corrections
- Serve as a back-up team member for other positions, including warehouse and shipping
- Assist with various warehouse daily/weekly tasks
- Provide assistance to bargaining unit employees to help resolve open actions

Qualifications:

- Solid experience/proficiency in SAP & Microsoft Office applications

- Willingness to learn and grow within the role
- Team-oriented mindset with a focus on internal and external customer satisfaction
- Currently holds Secret-level security clearance
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Previous experience within inventory management and/or warehousing
- Previous experience in a production environment
