Job Description: 

The Facilities Space Planning Coordinator supports the planning, construction management, and day-to-day operations of company facilities located in Greenville, Rockwall, and Plano. This role assists in developing space configurations and workplace layouts that support program, operational, and administrative needs. Working under general guidance, the coordinator contributes to smaller-scale projects, routine audits, and workspace changes while helping ensure efficient and effective facility utilization. 

 

Essential Functions: 

  • Provide support effort for the space planning, construction management, and operations of company facility sites in Greenville, Rockwall and Plano.
  • Create under guidance conceptual designs and layouts for space configurations supporting programs, operation and administrative departments.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of space allocation, furniture, and equipment layouts, communication services and obtain networking requirements.
  • Coordinate basic aspects of modular furniture installs (carpet, electrical, IT cabling, furniture installs, and relocation of employees).
  • Perform routine occupancy audits and update space management software.
  • Able to work under general direction and guidance within standard processes for non-routine tasks. 
  • Responsible for making minor changes in processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of approaches and routines being utilized.
  • Expected to propose solutions to problems for others review.
  • Communicates with contacts in own team to explain and interpret information
  • Work is of limited scope, typically on smaller, less complex projects or task-related activities

 

 

Qualifications: 

  • To be eligible, candidate's must be pursuing Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.

 

Preffered Skills:

  • Ability to use Microsoft Email, Excel, and Power Point
  • Prepare reports and charts
