Job Description:
Industrial Engineers will employ techniques and methods to assist functional management in implementing improvements to the manufacturing process in terms of productivity, quality, and cycle times.
Essential Functions:
- Perform work measurement, process flow analysis, and develop/implement tools/methods for measuring productivity and program cost performance
- Pull, analyze, and report data to support Manufacturing/Supply Chain Management in making key decisions
- Develop, validate, implement, and maintain labor standards for a variety of manufacturing and supply chain processes
- Work jointly with cross-functional engineering groups performing concurrent engineering and producibility analysis
- Implement process improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing techniques
- Communicate excellently across all levels (both written and verbal)
- Learn quickly and adapt to new environments
- Develop manufacturing work standards
Qualifications:

To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field or have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.

Applicants must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Preferred Additional Skills:
Along with being fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint applications, it is desirable for the individual filling this position to possess the following:
- The ability and drive to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity
- Application of analytical/statistical techniques such as regression analysis and linear programming
- Working knowledge of manufacturing and/or supply chain/logistics methods and processes
- Work experience in non-repetitive, design-to-order manufacturing environments
- Six Sigma Belt (Yellow, Green or Black) and/or Lean Expert Certification
