Job Description:
Responsible for performing inspections, tests, analyses and/or audits of highly complex developmental products or processes to include microelectronics, precision mechanical, software, test equipment and fully integrated systems to ensure quality standards and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. Assists in development and inspection of complex rework and repair of deliverable subassemblies and large system level integrated platforms. Approves production records for conformance to procedures. Responsible for ensuring safety, reliability and hardware traceability for end-item systems and mission solutions through production quality oversight. Collaborate with quality engineers in developing inspection requirements and techniques and implementing quality plans. Assists in evaluating defect data to identify trends and collaborates with quality engineers to make recommendations on process improvements. Routinely interfaces with customer representatives or suppliers. Works on assignments requiring judgment and initiative. Travel to suppliers and other L3Harris locations to perform hardware inspections may be required.

· Ability to verify the operational state of various L3Harris products and accessories
· Ability to evaluate the requirements compliance of L3 Harris hardware products
Qualifications:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or an Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Knowledge of Failure reporting tool
- Familiarity with common measuring devices
- Familiarity with AS9100D including experience performing process audits
- Basic knowledge in GD&T
- Ability to work in a clean room environment for extended time
- Microsoft Office experience
- Ability to support travel to suppliers for source inspections ~50% of time
- Ability to work on-call support over multiple shifts, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work different shifts on a rotational basis
- Ability to review assembly/ test documentation for appropriate traceability and in accordance with internal company procedures
- Experience evaluating complex electronic hardware, under magnification, to IPC-J-STD-001
- Certified, or the ability to obtain certification to the above referenced workmanship standards
- Active DoD clearance (Secret or higher)
