Job Description:

The Systems Engineer will act as a network and integration engineer for the Army INSCOM G-7 networking and integration program. 

Their role will require experience with configuring Cisco Routers & Switches, experience with VMware virtualization products, development and deployment of RHEL and Windows OS Virtual Machines, relevant kubernetes/containerization experience, and relevant cybersecurity experience.  The System Engineer will be required to work well in a team and be capable of meeting quarterly release deadlines.

Essential Functions:

• Perform monthly and quarterly deployment of virtual machines and containers using Vmware products.
• Perform quarterly functional testing and requirements verification and writing of functional test reports.
• Experience with requirements management, traceability, and verification.  IBM DOORS experience preferred.  
• Experience with VMware virtualization products (vCenter, ESXi, NSX, AppVol, ViewConnector, etc…)
• Experience developing and deploying Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Windows Virtual Machines
• Experience with configuring Cisco Router and Switch products
• Experience with Kubernetes/containerization (VMware Tanzu preferred)
• Experience scripting in a variety of different languages including PowerShell, Python, BASH, and others.
• Relevant cybersecurity experience, Security+ certification preferred
• Travel up to 10% as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant systems engineer experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related systems engineer experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related systems engineer experience.
• US DOD Security Clearance: TS/SCI is Required for this position
