Job Description:

 

 

Reporting to the CM/DM Manager, Specialty Engineering, the Configuration Data provides configuration and data oversight to their assigned program(s). The CM/DM Data will be responsible for planning, managing, and reporting on the documentation created to fulfill customer configuration and data requirements. The CM/DM Data will oversee detailed drawing and documentation reviews and will be required to interface with all departments supporting the programs, including Program Management, Engineering, Contracts, Subcontracts, Quality, and other functions concerning the initial release and formal changes to the documentation. The CM/DM Data will be required to hold the program to establish configuration and data management processes.

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Release Order (starts) released in PLM. Submit Bridge template to SharePoint and review Master Data Team notification that it was created in SAP.   Create bill of material and production version. Notify other Configuration Management members to “reply to all” that the RO was complete in SAP.
  • RO (changes) released in PLM. Create the change master (using Engineering Change#), create the new revision, update the MBOM to changes on template/change description.   Once complete in SAP notify Configuration Management members to “reply to all” that the RO was complete in SAP.  
  • MMCR submittals. Submit to SAP outside of the RO process, i.e. part description updates, make to buy, serialization, NAICS code updates.  
  • Review Configuration Management and Data Management Plans.
  • Provide guidance and ensure that all documents are reviewed and comply with the Program Documentation Standard is based on internal and contractual requirements.
  • Review Configuration and approving/rejecting all formal program documentation.
  • Create Configuration Status Accounting reports for the program.
  • Participate in Pre-Testing and Pre-Delivery Audits, including FCAs/PCAs if required by the contract.
  • Ensure program level Configuration Control Boards are established.
  • Review formal configuration management baselines and processing potential changes to those baselines.
  • Report on CDRL and/or SDRL deliveries monthly to L3Harris management who review on-time delivery metrics.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
  • Experience creating and revising Material Master Data using the PLM to SAP Bridge Process.
  • Experience with SAP Enterprise System.
  • Ability to obtain US Secret Clearance which requires US Citizenship. 
  • Must have prior Configuration and Data Management and SAP experience.

 

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

 

  • TeamCenter PLM Experience
  • Preferable to have 6+ years of experience of configuration management experience.
  • CM Certification. 

 

 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $65,500 - $121,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
