Job Description: 

This position will support the test effort for development of multiple ground-based mission systems and operations center from program inception to test verification and deployment. The Lead Integration & Test Engineer will define complex test strategies to verify mission capabilities while working with a team comprised of multiple internal organizations and subcontractors for the full integration and test of the mission system. The test engineer will be a point-of-contact for the government customer for test planning and will coordinate across government and stakeholder offices to define the test and evaluation plan.

Essential Functions: 

• Execute all levels of testing (Integration, System and Acceptance)
• Experience with Linux commands
• Develop test plans, test cases, and testing scripts for manual and automated testing, maintain testing records, document and report discovered problems
• Experience with Test Readiness Review (TRR) and test reports
• Document issues into bug tracking tool
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Experience in Agile & DevOps methodology and culture
• Proficient at JIRA/Confluence (or equivalent)
• Advocate for test priorities in daily scrum meetings and sprint planning
• Create clear and concise documentation of software issues
• Collaborate closely with the SW development team
• Analyze user stories/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
• Lead test development and peer review activities with little supervision. Ensure complete and accurate test coverage. Create test to requirement traceability matrix.
• Participate in project planning and execution meetings as required

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior related experience, or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience, or equivalent. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Familiarity with all phases of the software test life cycle
• Carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
• Experience with MBSE Methodology
• Familiarity using AI tools to accelerate debugging, documenting, and development efforts.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado state is $97,000 - $180,000 annually. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
