Job Description:
L3Harris Technologies is looking for an experienced Logistics Engineer to join our team in supporting the Array Group Driver (AGD) Integration & Test program. This position supports the AGD program’s Upgraded Early Warning Radar (UEWR) Sites located in Alaska, Greenland, and England. The Logistics Engineer responsibilities will include supporting engineering team for upgrade events, development & management of Deactivated Equipment List (DEL), and lifecycle support logistics analysis.
Essential Functions:
The Logistics Specialist duties include but are not limited to:
- Exercise logistics support utilizing standard practices, processes, and utilizing logistics databases.
- Record logistics management information utilizing integrated logistics support software systems.
- Provide analysis using logistics tools and metrics.
- Provides supply support through material research, ordering, warranty tracking, packaging, handling, storing, and transporting.
- Provide input for technical orders/drawings and schedule resources for technical order/drawing development.
- Development of Logistics processes and Plans as required (example: Disposition Plan)
- Development and management of Deactivated Equipment List (DEL) and execution of material disposition.
Qualifications:
- Ability to obtaim SECRET security clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Ability to travel world-wide up to 15% of year.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Understanding both ITAR and Trade Compliance policies and procedures.
- Working knowledge of technical order development, content, and change activities.
- Experience developing and presenting logistics product technical documentation and training material. Outstanding communication (written and verbal) skills and be capable of developing and presenting reports and presentations to the project teams, weapon system management and customer personnel in a clear, articulate, and concise manner.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite to include Excel, Power Point, and Word.
- Understand drawing and specification hierarchy and development.
- Familiar with engineering drawings and Build of Materials (BOM).
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $66,000 - $123,000. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $57,000 - $106,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
