L3Harris is hiring a handson SoftwareQuality Engineer to own the endtoend quality strategy for two business areas. This role combines strategic ownership with daytoday leadership, giving you the mandate, and the resources, to elevate quality across the enterprise. Essential Functions

 

  • Modernize and maintain a bestinclass software quality system that meets all customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Interfacing with software engineering to define the software quality strategy for two business areas, including building out a roadmap for the next generation of software quality support.  
  • Champion continuous improvement to protect product integrity, meet cost and delivery targets, and ensure mission success.
  • Act as the single point of contact for all sitelevel quality matters, driving alignment across programs and with external customers.

 

Required Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Six Sigma/Lean certification.
  • Working knowledge of hardware quality engineering, electronic manufacturing, or embedded systems.
  • Java, C++, YAML, JavaScript, C#, and Docker Compose/Container
  • Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), DevSecOps pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
  • Quality Trend Analysis and previous RCCA experience
  • Jira and Confluence (Atlassian full site) knowledge and experience
  • Experience developing and reporting Quality KPI metrics
  • Proven success deploying and managing quality frameworks
  • Hands-on experience with root cause analysis, configuration management, and audit preparation.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills and executive-level presentation ability.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado state is $82,500 - $153,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
