Job Description:

We are seeking a senior Project Engineer with strong Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and program execution experience to support complex, Space Command & Control programs from planning through delivery to our operational sites at Naval Support Facility Dahlgren, VA, and Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA. This role serves as a key interface across program management, finance, planning, supply chain, quality, manufacturing, and other functional teams to ensure scope is executed in alignment with cost, schedule, and performance objectives.  The ideal candidate has deep experience in integrated program execution and is highly skilled in schedule coordination, baseline management, variance analysis, risk tracking, and performance reporting within an EVMS-driven environment.

Essential Functions:

• Support execution of MOSSAIC C2 program scope across all phases of the program lifecycle.
• Partner with program managers, control account managers, integrated product teams, and functional leads to ensure alignment of operational-site activities with program baselines.
• Develop, maintain, and track program plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and action items.
• Support EVMS planning, baseline development, work authorization, status collection, and performance measurement activities.
• Monitor and analyze program performance against cost and schedule baselines.
• Assist in preparation of variance analyses, estimates to complete, corrective action plans, and recovery plans.
• Support development and maintenance of Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and related execution metrics.
• Coordinate inputs for program reviews, including internal management reviews and customer-facing reviews.
• Track scope execution and ensure deliverables are completed in accordance with contractual and program requirements.
• Support change management, baseline change control, and configuration management processes.
• Identify program risks, issues, and opportunities; support mitigation planning and closure tracking.
• Prepare and present status, metrics, and performance summaries to leadership and program teams.
• Facilitate communication across program management, finance, planning, supply chain, quality, manufacturing, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and EVMS guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
• 5+ years of experience in project coordination, program management, project controls, EVMS, or program support.
• Active Secret clearance.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Experience in defense, aerospace, government contracting, or other highly regulated industries.
• Familiarity with EVMS guidelines.
• Demonstrated experience supporting programs in an EVMS environment.
• Working knowledge of:

• Experience with tools such as Cobra, MS Project, Primavera, Jira, SAP, or equivalent systems.
• Experience supporting customer and internal milestone reviews.
• PMP, CAPM, or EVMS-related certification.
• Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado state is $92,500-$171,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
