Essential Functions:

 

  • Design, develop, integrate, and test software applications and systems in support of program requirements
  • Write clean, maintainable code using languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or similar
  • Participate in software requirements analysis, design reviews, and code reviews
  • Support debugging, troubleshooting, and resolution of software defects throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams including systems, hardware, and test engineering
  • Document software designs, test procedures, and technical specifications in accordance with program standards

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, there is a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
  • Must be eligible and able to obtain a Secret clearance

 

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

 

  • Active US Secret security clearance preferred
  • Experience with at least one programming language such as C++, Python, or Java
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
  • Familiarity with version control tools such as Git or Subversion (SVN)
  • Exposure to Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools or software modeling
  • Experience working within a defense or government contracting environment
  • Knowledge of software security practices and secure coding standards
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks or test-driven development (TDD)

 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado state is $74,500-$138,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
