Job Description:

 

 

To ensure compliance with internal and external specifications and standards, it is important to prepare and execute internal audits. Additionally, reviewing and approving internal documents in accordance with established processes and procedures is essential. Performing lab audits and workbench certifications is necessary to maintain compliance with internal standards. Preparing and delivering inspection and audit reports to Quality management helps ensure that quality objectives are met. Addressing process and product non-conformance through reports and corrective actions is another key responsibility. Collecting and reporting metrics can identify areas for improvement. Communication with Project Leads as the Quality point of contact ensures clear collaboration. Finally, attending meetings and reviews to provide Quality insight and views supports the overarching goal of maintaining high standards.

 

 

Essential Functions: 

 

  • Identification and documentation of quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems per internal standards and J-STD-001, IPC-A-610 & 620 requirements
  • Leads the preparation and execution of internal process and lab audits within established manufacturing and production controls to ensure compliance with internal and external specifications and standards
  • Participates in supplier corrective and preventative actions, including: customer escapes, process nonconformities, supplier corrective actions, customer and change control, and material review board meetings
  • Performs Drawing & Engineering Change Order (ECO) reviews to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements
  • Reviews Purchase Requisitions (PRs) for completeness and alignment with internal requirements and apply Quality Clauses in accordance with Command Media
  • Reviews and approves WOFT/Router generation, activities and completions
  • Performs product inspections, tests and/or audits of purchased parts, units, materials, equipment, panel/module level assemblies and quality control programs to specifications as required
  • Performs ESD workstation measurements and certifications in conjunction with Lab Audits
  • Performs surveillance/verification of assembly workmanship, equipment calibration, manufacturing process, test process; assembly-related mechanical and dimensional inspections; and other related duties, as assigned
  • Attends CDRL and other document reviews for compliance and approval
  • Participates in internal and external ISO annual audits
  • Reviews items prior to shipment to ensure proper documentation and compliance

 

Qualifications: 

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
  • Secret US Security Clearance

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Lean/Six Sigma training (Green/Black Belt)
  • Working knowledge of Quality Control principles and receiving inspection requirements
  • AS 9100/ISO 9001 Quality System experience
  • Knowledge or Certification in IPC-A-610J and IPC-A-620E
  • Knowledge of Failure Reporting tools
  • Knowledge of GD&T
  • Experience with Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action
  • Certified, or the ability to obtain certification to above referenced workmanship standards
  • Familiarity with common measuring devices
  • Self-Starter, able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Possess exceptional communication (both oral and written) and listening skills, with a strong orientation to details, and the ability to make quick, informed decisions
  • Working knowledge of ESD principles and practices
  • Ability to maintain 5S+1 work area and implement and enforce Lean manufacturing principles
  • 4+ years’ experience working in regulated or standardized Quality Management Systems such as ISO9001:2015 or AS9100
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team under moderate supervision

 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado state is $54,000 - $100,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
