Job Description: Sr. Specialist, Government Compliance (Government Property Managers) are responsible for maintaining an approved property control system in compliance with current government property regulations Federal Acquisition Requirement (FAR). Coordinate and manage property control activities to ensure accountability and traceability of Government, contractor acquired, and/or customer furnished property in accordance with applicable government regulations and corporate policy
Essential Functions:
- Assist in maintaining property accountability records, transfers, consumption and utilization activities.
- Coordinates disposition of excess, oversees movements or shipment of property, as required.
- Ensuring that property is properly identified
- Participates in property audits; provides guidance on government regulations pertaining to property accountability; recommends and assists with implementation of property administration policies.
- Verifies that all inventory adjustments, liability determinations, loans, disposition, and all other property issues are resolved.
- Coordinate with the appropriate parties (Plant Clearance, Inventory, Property Specialists, etc.) to execute any instructions that have not been completed.
- Confirm all applicable record(s) are cleared. Provide a property list if applicable during the closeout work-flow process.
- Issue a Contract Closeout Letter once all outcomes have been met.
- Obtains proper authorizations for all property transfers and facilities and manages close-out activities to ensure program teams and customers adhere to FAR regulations.
- Assist with other duties as identified by the Government Property Manager.
- Complete required submissions to the Department of Defense (DoD) Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) database.
- Perform receipt and transfer activities as well as property Loss Report submissions.
- Will review Contracts for FAR/DFAR clauses and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) requirements and produce applicable reports for contracts as required.
- The Government Property Manager maintains accurate records, disposal of property, performs annual inventories, prepares, and distributes metrics and reports as required.
- Property Manager will ensure physical inventory activities are completed as required including inventory schedules, submissions, and resolving discrepancies to ensure 100% accuracy and accountability. Reporting metrics, preparing and distributing letters of inventory results, and LOSS reporting.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Some travel may be required.

- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, there is a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Contract Property Management Experience
- FAR 52.245-1 /DFARS 245 understanding and familiarity
- NPMA Certification
- PIEE experience
- CINCOM Control and/or Sunflower Asset Management experience
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Must possess the ability to accommodate shifting priorities and adaptation to changing environments.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills.
- Be able to manage multiple projects
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Detail oriented, efficient/courteous communication with peers, internal and external customers alike
- Must be a team player who can operate in a high energy and schedule driven environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New Jersey area is $82,500.00 - $153,000.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
