Job Description:
The Program Manager is responsible for leading the execution of development and production programs within the Electronic Warfare (EW) portfolio and serving as the primary interface with customers, engineering, operations, and Business Development (BD). This role ensures program performance across cost, schedule, technical requirements, and Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics. The candidate must have strong program management experience, a solid technical background in EW or related defense systems, and a high level of proficiency in EVM to effectively manage cost and schedule performance across complex programs.
Essential Functions:
- Lead day‑to‑day management Electronic Warfare programs, ensuring successful execution across schedule, budget, EVM performance, risk, and deliverables.
- Maintain a high degree of proficiency in Earned Value Management, including development and analysis of cost and schedule performance metrics, variance analysis, forecasting, and corrective action planning.
- Serve as the primary customer-facing representative for assigned programs, maintaining clear communication, building strong relationships, and ensuring alignment with contractual requirements.
- Communicates with leadership regarding matters of importance to the functional or business area. May conduct briefings with leaders.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, supply chain, finance, and quality to drive program milestones and resolve issues.
- Support the portfolio growth campaign, providing technical understanding, proposal inputs, and customer engagement based on EW domain knowledge.
- Apply engineering and EW technical expertise to interpret requirements, support design decisions, and communicate complex concepts to internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and manage program risks, opportunities, staffing needs, and resource allocations.
- Prepare and deliver internal and external program reviews, status updates, and financial reporting.
- Implement strategic goals established by leadership. Establishes operational plans for job area with short-term impact on results
- Contribute to long-term account strategy and growth by identifying follow-on opportunities and supporting capture activities.
- Maintain a high level of situational awareness across all assigned programs and proactively address issues to protect schedule and performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- 4 years experience Earned Value Management (EVM), including performance measurement, variance analysis, forecasting, and corrective action development.
- 4 years experience experience in program management within the defense or aerospace industry, preferably supporting Electronic Warfare (EW) or related mission‑critical systems, managing large, complex, high‑visibility programs with minimal oversight
- Ability to gain secret clearance required

- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage multiple, concurrent priorities
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and EW technologies, enabling effective communication with technical teams and customers.
- Experience with customer engagement, proposal development, and capture support.
- Demonstrated track record of implementing process improvements and contributing to operational excellence.
- Ability to develop and deliver high‑quality program reviews and executive‑level briefings.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $106,500 -$197,500. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $92,500 - $171,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
