Position Overview:
The EW Division Architect serves as the senior technical leader responsible for defining, aligning, and advancing the division’s technical vision, architecture strategy, and mission capability roadmap across the Electronic Warfare portfolio. This individual provides division-level leadership in shaping future technologies, aligning investments to customer mission needs, guiding architectural decisions across multiple programs, and influencing business strategy through deep technical and operational insight. The Division Architect partners closely with division leadership, engineering teams, program managers, capture teams, and customers to ensure technical coherence, innovation, and competitive positioning across current and future EW solutions.
Essential Functions:
· Own and maintain the EW Division technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with customer mission needs, market trends, and business strategy
· Provide division-wide systems architecture leadership across multiple EW programs, pursuits, and technology investments
· Define and communicate the technical vision for future EW mission capabilities, platforms, and integrated solutions
· Guide architectural decisions and trade studies to ensure consistency, scalability, and mission effectiveness across the portfolio
· Partner with business development, capture, and program leadership to identify and shape new opportunities and strengthen technical win strategies
· Support customer engagement by communicating technical concepts, capability evolution, and mission relevance with credibility and clarity
· Identify emerging technologies, competitive trends, and mission gaps to inform strategic planning and investment priorities
· Influence research, development, and innovation efforts to mature differentiated EW capabilities for future growth
· Identify and drive cross-site and cross-business collaboration to develop integrated, partnered solutions that address customer mission needs across the EW portfolio
· Identify, establish, and strengthen cross-industry and vendor partnerships to deliver mission capability solutions that solve customer challenges and enhance competitive positioning
· Provide technical mentorship and leadership to senior engineers, architects, and emerging technical leaders across the division
· Serve as a trusted advisor to division leadership on technical risk, opportunity, roadmap priorities, and long-range capability strategy
· Ensure architectural alignment across classified and unclassified efforts, consistent with operational, technical, and business objectives
· Support integration of technology, mission needs, and product/system architectures in a manner that enables growth and execution success.
· Oversee the division investment portfolio, including direct IRAD and other strategic technology investments, to align resources with the technology roadmap, mission priorities, and business strategy
· Lead and direct IRAD strategy and priorities to ensure investment is aligned with the division technical roadmap, customer demand signals, and long-term growth objectives
· Up to 50% Travel Required
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
• Active Top Secret Clearance required.
Preferred Additional Skills:
• 5 years’ experience serving as a chief architect, chief engineer, technical fellow, or equivalent senior technical leadership role
• 10 years technical experience in EW systems, electromagnetic spectrum operations, RF architecture, mission payloads, and threat/countermeasure concepts
• 3 years’ experience bridging technology development, operational mission needs, and business strategy
• Advanced degree such as MS or PhD in a relevant technical discipline
• Demonstrated experience growing business through customer relationships, opportunity shaping, capture support, and delivery of compelling technical solutions aligned to mission needs
• Strong industry presence and credibility with customers, partners, and internal leadership
• Experience mentoring and developing technical talent and succession pipelines

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New Jersey is $184,500 - $341,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
