Job Description:

 

This Program Manager is responsible for directing the daily tasks and ongoing administrative functions of the program initiatives adhering to contractual obligations and subsequent reporting.

 

Essential Functions:

 

• Direct all phases of programs from inception through completion
• Drive program execution to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing, or current programs
• Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of program
• Participate in the negotiation of contract and contract changes
• Responsible for analyzing bids and assisting in the development of WBS/Deliverables/Schedule/Cashflow forecast
• Coordinate the preparation of proposals, business plans, and performance Statement of Work (SOW) and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract
• Act as primary customer contact for program activities
• Lead program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance to ensure seamless execution
• Effectively communicates with all levels of co-workers, senior management, and customer
• Work with Functions assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing, and administrative areas to identify and assist in areas of improvement for systems and processes
• Travel up to 10% as needed

 

Qualifications:

 

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience; Or, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
• Ability to obtain US Government security clearance

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

 

• Active DoD Secret (or greater) security clearance
• PMP (Program Management Professional) certified
• Aircraft Modification, Engineering/Sustainment, Planning, Procurement, Material Program Management, or Finance background is beneficial
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
• Strong and effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent time management skills and ability to generate and support pragmatic solutions while maintaining high quality standards
• Ability to present to internal and external leadership

 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New Jersey state is $90,500-$168,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
