Job Description:
Develops and administers security programs and procedures for classified, sensitive, or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Researches and implements federal security regulations, maintaining knowledge and awareness of interdisciplinary compliance requirements (finance, cyber, information technology, and trade compliance). Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, retaining records, and access by personnel or visitors to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education training and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Collects, assimilates, and interprets intelligence information and disseminates to the appropriate stakeholder or investigating authority.

Communicates with all levels of employees and government customers. Troubleshoots issues and works independently. Work with the security team on all required assignments within the security department. Essential Functions:
- Assists in the development and implementation of policies and operating procedures supporting government, customer agency requirements
- Conducts security education classes and security self-inspection audits
- Prepares manuals outlining regulations and establishes procedures for handling, storing, record keeping, and for granting personnel and visitor’s access to restricted records and materials
- Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken
- Oversees the installation and maintenance of all alarm and access control systems
- Works together with teammates to produce results
- Communicates with all levels of employees and government customers
- Troubleshoots issues and works independently

Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
- Requires proficient knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
- May have practical knowledge of project management.
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 0 - 2 years of prior related experience
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft Windows and Server operating systems
- Working knowledge of all applicable DoD Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1-4, DoD Instruction 52.05.11, NISPOM, & ICD 705
- Requires practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience
- Flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules, and priorities
- Able to socialize ideas, make recommendations, and gain team consensus
