Job Description:
The Lead Program Manager for Integrated Survivability Solutions directs all phases of the Naval Decoy portfolio of programs from inception through completion. This individual is responsible for driving program execution to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing, or current programs.
Essential Functions:
• Serve as a subject matter expert with comprehensive knowledge of program area and in-depth knowledge of project management
• Manage large, complex project initiatives of substantial importance to the organization with minimal oversight or direction
• Responsible for the cost, schedule, EVM, and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs
• Participate in the negotiation of contract and contract changes
• Coordinate the preparation of proposals, business plans, performance Statement of Work (SOW) and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract
• Act as primary customer contact for program activities
• Lead program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance
• Communicate within and outside of the organization to explain and influence changes to practices, processes and approaches
• Establish design concepts, criteria, and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test
• Expand the product line with the customer
• Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules
• Identify program problems and obtain solutions such as allocating resources or changing contractual specifications
• Direct the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing, and administrative areas
Qualifications:
• Must Have an Active Secret Clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience; Or, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
Preferred Additional Skills
• Ability to present to internal and external leadership
• Ability to provide leadership without authority
• Experience with risk mitigation, root cause analysis, and EVM
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New Jersey state is $125,000-$232,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
