Job Description:

This position involves performing routine security duties while also demonstrating the flexibility to address and resolve emerging challenges. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in assisting visitors and employees by providing necessary guidance and ensuring a secure environment on the premises. You will serve as a representative of the Security Department, interacting regularly with staff, visitors, and external emergency services. A key responsibility is the protection of classified information, while also maintaining the safety and well-being of all personnel and visitors on site. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed, making this a dynamic and varied role.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Monitor and secure assigned posts to ensure the safety of employees and visitors, as well as compliance with Department of Defense (DOD) regulations regarding classified information protection.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Security Guard.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to effectively communicate observations both verbally and in writing.
