Job Description:
L3 Harris is seeking an experienced Quality Technician B to join our Chula Vista, CA team.
Essential Functions:
- Conduct quality assurance audits to ensure adherence to procedures, materials, and technical instructions.
- Perform regular inspections of work areas and other quality assessments.
- Attend production meetings for updates on job progress and work with shop leads to address issues.
- Review and finalize records at the conclusion of each work package for storage.
- Maintain equipment and ensure calibration for testing.
- Collaborate with other Quality Assurance Technician as needed.
- Support quality control initiatives
- High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
- 3 to 4 years of quality or technical experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and QA systems.
- Proficient in reading electrical schematics and a thorough understanding of electrical/electronic test results.
- Knowledge of measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Must be a US Citizen.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California is $47,500- $88,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
