Job Description:
The Production Support D role is responsible for managing all production activities on the manufacturing floor. This includes assigning work to assembly technicians, inspecting in-process production, and managing tooling and consumables. The role requires a strong understanding of assembly production processes and the ability to supervise and support a team of technicians effectively.
Essential Functions:
- Establish priorities and provide production support to ensure smooth operations on the manufacturing floor.
- Assist assembly technicians with the preparation of Technical Data Packages and conduct inspections to ensure compliance with standards.
- Relay any issues with paperwork to the Quality Assurance (QA) team for investigation and resolution.
- Manage and maintain tooling and consumables to support production needs.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support overall production goals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in assembly production and supervision.
- IPC certification is required.
- Knowledge of soldering and testing processes.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Bilingual
- MIL-STD a plus
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California is $58,000- $66,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
