Job Description: 

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Production Planner who will be responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating and/or monitoring final approval of products through the complete production cycle to meet production schedules and requirements. 

 

Essential Functions:

  • Work from drawings bills of materials to estimate materials and labor pricing.
  •  Advise management of the status of work in progress by coordinating with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain as well as interfacing with engineering. 
  • Work to resolve material shortages for backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions. 
  • Assignments are moderately difficult requiring some judgement.
  • Works under limited supervision; fully proficient to perform production planning.

 

Qualifications: 

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate’s degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
  • Femonstrate Microsoft and computer knowledge/skills
  • Familiar with ERP and preferably Costpoint
  • Computer skills, ERP and Microsoft Suite

  • Proven track record of reliability, responsibility, safety, and solid organization skills
  • Strong communication and teaming skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office suite, and ERP database

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California is $44,000- 81,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
