Job Description:
L3Harris is seeking an Electrician Leadman to join its Chula Vista, CA team. The Electrician Leaman performs a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance or repair of equipment for the generation, distribution or utilization of electric energy.
Essential Functions:
- Plan, direct, coordinate Journeyman and junior electricians in the completion of one or more assigned tasks.
- Installs, tests, repairs, maintains electric equipment and systems.
- Circuit analysis, calculation of wage form and tracing relationships in signal flow.
- Applies advanced technical knowledge to diagnose and solve usually complex problems that typically cannot be solved solely by reference to manufactures technical manuals, blueprints, or similar documents in working on electronic equipment or systems.
- Aligns, adjusts, and calibrates equipment to specifications.
Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen
- High school graduate or equivalent, and minimum three (3) years shipboard Electrical experience
- Supervisory Experience
- Detailed understanding of the interrelationships of circuits
- Ability to exercise independent judgement in performing such tasks as making circuit analyses, calculating wave form, and tracing relationships in signal flow.
- Ability to use complex test and measuring instruments including but not limited to, dual trace oscilloscopes, pulse generators, Q-meters, deviation meters, spectrum analyzers, RF power meters, network analyzers, scalar network analyzers, and sweeper mainframes and various RF plug-ins.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $28/hr - $32/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
