Job Description:

We are seeking an onsite Quality Inspector to support our Carlstadt, NJ facility (ARDE). The Inspector is primarily responsible for inspecting and recording visual and dimensions of aerospace components. Ensuring products and certification conformance to blueprints, internal work instructions and customer specifications

Essential Functions:

• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure parts and product meet customer requirements.
• Utilizing work instructions provided by manufacturing and quality Engineers to collect data.
• Completing first article inspection of components (FAI’s) for drawing and specification compliance.
• Completing receiving Inspection of components for drawing and specification compliance.
• Final assembly inspections for product acceptance per customer requirements and workmanship.
• Tool and Gage calibrations and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of five (5) years of prior relevant experience as a quality control dimensional inspector with aerospace components.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Proficiency using precision measuring tools such as, height gage, micrometer, Vernier caliper, thread gage, surface comparators.
• Proficiency using FARO ARM or CMM
• Knowledge and experience of aerospace manufacturing processes and materials.
• Good communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong problem solving and ability to create manual approaches to measuring.
• Ability to read Engineering Drawings
• When required, ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
• Available to work some overtime during the week, and sometimes in the weekend.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in the state of New Jersey is $18.50/hr - $59.13/hr.
