Job Description: 

 

The Integration/Test Engineer will support and ensure the functionality, reliability, and safety of our electrical products and systems. This role is vital for our quality assurance process, ensuring our products meet all design specifications and comply with relevant industry and safety standards before release. The ideal candidate will have a meticulous eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of electrical principles and safety protocols.  A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or 10 years of experience. This role is for a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about quality assurance and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate can work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively and working with customers for a common goal. The candidate needs to have strong communication skills, able to present complex technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Develop, analyze, execute test plans and date: Update and implement testing procedures to validate performance, evaluate results against design criteria, durability, and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues: Investigate, diagnose, and resolve electrical issues identified during testing. Perform root cause analysis and propose corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance: Verify that products and processes comply with internal standards and external regulatory requirements, such as those from UL, OSHA, or specific industry bodies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with design, production, and project management teams to define testing requirements and interpret test results.
  • Maintain test equipment: Maintain test equipment, ensuring all tools and systems are functioning correctly and accurately.
  • Document and report: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including test reports, procedures, and specifications. Communicate results to stakeholders.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

 

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Familiarity with standard testing equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies) and software test systems.
  • Strong understanding of electrical circuit design, analysis, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to interpret and create technical drawings and schematics.
  • Experience with automated testing systems and data acquisition systems.
  • Experience in EMC/EMI testing is desirable.

 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $102,000 - $189,000.  This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
