Job Description:

Looking for an experienced individual who can work in a fast-paced environment, is self-motivated, and a positive team member. One who is highly skilled in maintenance and reliability with focus on infrastructure preventive and predictive emergency services. Oversee and manage projects from planning to completion, coordinating with vendors for services such as: HVAC, boiler, building automation system, water chemical treatment, predictive maintenance, soft water & RO/ DI and janitorial services. Provide oversight for service contractors while staying within approved budgets and maintaining a safe workplace environment.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Serve as infrastructure liaison with an understanding of HVAC, steam, plumbing, hydronics and electrical systems and other infrastructure systems/ equipment.
  • Drive and lead Maintenance and Reliability initiatives focused on Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
  • Develop, implement, and optimize programs for routine maintenance and repairs to prevent equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime.
  • Implement periodic investigations and inspections of infrastructure systems and equipment
  • Supervise external contractors and suppliers for specialized services and/or major projects.
  • Manage service contracts providing financial oversite of associated services.
  • Rebid contracts authoring scope of work and specifications to improve affordability.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop short term expense budgets and long-term capital plans.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior facilities experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior facilities experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior facilities experience. 

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Knowledge of Site Infrastructure, Maintenance and Reliability.
  • Knowledge of applicable industry standards and best practices.
  • Experience with budget management and contract administration.
  • Proficiency in planning, organizing, and directing facilities projects with ability to support several projects & priorities simultaneously.
  • Teaming skills to work in an internal/external teaming environment.
  • Analyze complex problems and evaluate alternatives for sound recommendations.
  • Read and evaluate blueprints, construction drawings, technical specifications
  • Proficient computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, & MS Project.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivation and results driven
  • Work and adjust in a dynamic changing environment with ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, and in an office setting.
  • Experience in Business Building Management and Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $71,500 - $132,500. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $62,000 - $115,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
